I adore this short and sweet series and ugly cry during the final volume without fail. This was one of the most fun to work on because of the logo. It took me 2 hours and $70 combing the art store to find the materials that could naturally create the letter forms for "Picasso."
The creator himself, Usamaru Furuya, even commented on the logo by posting on his twitter account:
北米版の「幻覚ピカソ」のロゴが凝ってて嬉しいー！
(transl: I'm glad the American logo for "Genkaku Picasso" was absorbed!*)
*my coworker said the use of this verb has a high concept meaning in that he's glad the ideas and intent of the original japanese logo was understood, "absorbed" conceptually to create the English logo.
