Mameshiba, "bean dogs", are characters created by korean designers featured in short animations and character goods from Japan. Meet Mameshiba! led the launch of this new quirky character series as a character introduction book of sorts.
Unlike other comics published by VIZ where select pages needs design, every page of this book had to be designed from scratch, which included the occasional illustration. It was fun for me to be able to develop and execute a whole publication with such an awkwardly cute property.
