At San Diego International Comic-Con 2013, Weekly Shonen JUMP held a fan event outside the convention center and distributed energy drinks and sodas from a custom-skinned truck. As a comic book print designer on the day to day, convention season usually allows me to stretch my fingers and design beyond the book!

The truck design echoes the WSJ branded booth wall in the exhibit hall of the convention center for visual recognition between inside the convention hall and outside at the event.

The energy cans allowed for the character art to wraparound easily, but for the soda bottles, because of the size of the space, I decided to create slightly more templated labelling approach.
